However, many of my instruments are well-played vintage items which are many years old, and I am not a luthier. I make every effort to describe and illustrate each guitar and case with scrupulous accuracy. Since some of my guitars travel thousands of miles, I take care to use lots of packing materials, protect the neck inside the case, and of course de-tune the strings. I have sold guitars to Russia, Japan, Australia, and over 50 other countries, as well as almost every state in the USA. I will CONSIDER reasonable offers, even including installment payments and trade-ins, but generally since I already attempt to price my guitars very competitively, unusual deals must be unusually sweet.įrom henceforth, insurance and shipping to the lower 48 states is $55 due to constantly rising shipping costs unless a specific listing says otherwise shipping costs elsewhere will be negotiated as necessary. Payments by Paypal, cashier’s checks, money orders, or personal checks are acceptable, but all payments must clear my bank before the guitar will be shipped. Thank you for checking out my “collection,” and I look forward to hearing from many of you soon. I also have a number of guitars being checked out or negotiated for which are not yet listed if you have a particular model in which you are interested, please ask, and I will be happy to let you know if it will be available soon. If you see a specific guitar listed in which you are interested, send me an e-mail about it and I will post pictures and a description of it within a day or so otherwise I will be posting pictures and descriptions of a variety of guitars at a rate of about two a day as time permits. As you can see, I generally sell only Martin, Gibson, Guild, Taylor, and Alvarez-Yairi guitars because most of these models are made so well that they tend to increase in value and the complexity and resonance of their sound as they age, regardless of their appearance I can therefore sell them with confidence despite my lack of real expertise. I have been encouraged to list my entire current inventory of guitars, even though it is constantly changing and I have not yet taken pictures or written full descriptions of many of them.
